The bank is giving loan of up to Rs 10 lakh without any collateral under the Mudra scheme.
Under this scheme, this loan is given to new and old traders older than 1 year.
In addition to the working capital, the bank gives a term loan to buy a shop or buy a quilt, luggage, commodity filings, tools, furniture etc.
The bank is giving loan without the security of the existing shop or unit.
Repayment: Term loan can be returned from 3 to 7 years, while Working Capital Limit can be renewed every year.

Punjab National Bank दो या तीन सरकारी Banks के कंट्रोल को अपने हाथ में ले सकता है। रॉयटर्स की एक रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक, इन बैंकों में Oriental Bank of Commerce, Andhra Bank और Allahabad Bank शामिल हो सकते हैं। भारत सरकार लगातार छोटे क्षेत्रीय सरकारी Banks को बेहतर प्रबंधन वाले सरकारी Bank में Merger की दिशा में प्रयास कर रही है। इसके माध्यम से सरकार का लक्ष्य बैड लोन्स के स्तर को कम करना है। इस समय सरकारी Banks के खातों में 9 लाख करोड़ रुपए के बैड लोन्स दर्ज हैं, जो GDP के लगभग 5 फीसदी के बराबर हैं।

तीन महीने में शुरू हो सकती है प्रक्रिया
बीते साल सरकार के स्वामित्व वाले LIC ने IDBI Bank का अधिग्रहण किया था, जो सबसे ज्यादा बैड लोन्स वाले Banks में से एक था। सूत्रों के मुताबिक, इस क्रम में PNB अगले तीन महीनों में Banks का कंट्रोल अपने हाथ में लेने की प्रक्रिया शुरू कर सकता है।
